The 2020 Budget and Economic Policy of the Government of Ghana shall be presented on the floor of Parliament on November 14, 2019, barring any unforeseeable circumstances.
The government’s Fiscal and Economic Policy for the election year will be read by the country’s Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta on behalf of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

This was revealed by the first female deputy Majority Leader of the Parliament of Ghana, Sarah Adwoa Safo, on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, when presenting her welcome address to members for the commencement of the Third Meeting of the Third Session of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
This budget presentation becomes the fourth, and last in the first term of the Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
Ghana has had budget over-runs each time in an election year and economic watchers and analysts are eagerly waiting for what the government will be presenting to the people.
