Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye director-general of the Ghana Health Service at a press briefing
indicated that 2,065 health workers in the country have contracted the virus.
He added that 1,870 health workers have recovered from the virus.

Sadly 6 of the health workers lost their lives to the virus, with 183 receiving treatment at treatment
centers across the country.
According to him, Greater Accra has the highest infected health workers of 588 with 536 recoveries with no death so far.
Also, 24 healths’ has contracted the virus, with 5 recovered so far in Ahafo, and in the Ashanti Region,
245 have contracted the virus with 288 recoveries and with 2 unfortunate deaths.
