The Appointments Committee of Parliament will today April 15, 2020 vet the Deputy Health Minister-designate, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye.
Dr. Oko Boye who is MP for Ledzokuku in Teshie was nominated for the position last week before parliamentary sittings were suspended by the Speaker, Prof Mike Oquaye.
The procedures leading up to the vetting including invitations for memoranda about the nominee appear to have been abridged leading ahead of the vetting.
President Nana Akufo-Addo on days ago announced the appointment of the Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Dr. Okoe Boye as a Deputy Health Minister-designate.
He is to take over from Alexander Abban, MP for Gomoa West, who has been moved to the Communications Ministry as a Deputy Minister.
