Recorded cases of the COVID-19 disease here in Ghana now stands at 4,012.
This indicates the addition of some 921 cases as the number stood at 3,091 earlier.
Regional breakdown of the cases shows Accra in the lead with a total of 3,436 recorded cases. The Ashanti Region follows with a total of 210 cases followed by the Eastern Region with 96 cases.
The Central Region has recorded 58 whiles the Western and Western-North has have recorded 35 and 56 cases respectively. The others are Volta Region 32, Upper East Region 26, Oti Region 24, Upper East Region 20, Northern Region 16, North East Region 2 and the Bono Region moving from 0 to 1 recorded case.

So far only the Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East Regions have zero cases recorded.
323 patients who tested positive have recovered whiles the country has lost 18 patients to the disease. With a cure yet to be found for the virus, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, Director General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) at the Minister’s Press Briefing, Thursday indicated that the country is ready to make an assessment of the Madagascar’s COVID-19 Organics that is believed to cure the disease.
