Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS 2003 Year Group Donates 12- Seater Flush Toilet to Alma Mater at 20 Years Anniversary Ceremony
The 2003 Year Group of Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High School on Saturday 11th November, 2023
celebrated their 20 years anniversary after completing school.
As part of the anniversary commemoration, the old students of the prestigious all female school donated a
12- seater flush toilet to one of the houses in the school named Yaa Sarponmaa House ( House 8)
Talking to the media present, the president of the association Ms. Erica Edem Senayah, divulged that her
Year group was motivated to donate a lavatory in a quest to enhance proper hygiene and sanitary
conditions in the school. She says this is the first time any of the year groups from Yaa Asantewaa Girls’
Senior High School has embarked on a comprehensive infrastructure project.

Dr Louise Carol Serwaa Donkor , National Coordinator for The National Alternative Employment and Livelihood Programme , a former school prefect and member of the 2003 year group also launched ‘The Girls Leadership Academy ‘ an initiative designed by her to groom students within the school for prominent leadership roles.
The three day anniversary ceremony commenced from Friday 10th November with a mentorship session to Sunday 12th November ,2023 climaxing it with a Thanksgiving Service at Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ SHS assembly Hall.
