Game of Thrones Season 7 finale received massive viewership and making it the most watched.
Despite the endless leaks, the final episode raked in 16.5 million viewers who watched the episode live, THR reports.
The fifth episode ‘Eastwatch’ was the highest-rated with 10.72 million viewers. Compared to Season 6 finale (8.89 million viewers) the number has doubled.
The upcoming Season 8 is expected to arrive somewhere in 2019 and will be the shortest with only six episodes.
