Black Princesses head coach, Yusif Basigi has promised Ghanaians to build a solid side ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France.
Ghana has been slotted in group A, facing host nation France, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
However, the Black Princesses training was suspended following the halt of football activities in the country with regards to investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigative piece.
However, the appointment of the liaison team to lead Ghana football has kickstarted the preparation of the Black Princesses ahead of the tournament.
Yusif Basigi has reiterated that the Black Princesses will be in good shape for the tournament.
“Since we came we have realised there is no much time on our side so we need to put in a lot of training sessions together in order to catch up with time so we are combining a lot of things,” Yusif Basigi told Joy FM.”
“You could see that we did a lot of things today just to put the girls in shape and build them for the task ahead.”
“The limited time has been a challenge but we will make do with the time.”
Black Princesses are set to travel to Spain to continue preparation before heading to France for the tournament.
