The woes of the Aayalolo bus service seem not to be over anytime soon as the company risk of totally shutting its operations in Ghana.
The company’s latest obstacles have been credited to the break out of the COVID-19 in the nation.
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, management of the Aayalolo company has been compelled to cut down the of buses it operates in the Greater Accra Region from 75 to 10.
Also, the bus presently takes 25 passengers instead of the preliminary 89 in line with set COVID-19 procedures.
According to Citi News reports the Kinbu bus terminal in Accra, was essentially empty with just a couple of buses parked there. Some chauffeurs present at the time stated the present circumstance of the company is dire.

The Aayalolo bus service has struggled to be lucrative since it introduced in 2017.
After resuming operations earlier this year, all buses were grounded again due to losses incurred as a result of the enforcement of social distancing rules but President Nana Akufo-Addo directed the Minister for Finance and the Minister of Transport to work together to ensure the immediate resumption of the Aayalolo bus service particularly amid the coronavirus outbreak.
