Maritzburg United have confirmed they have received an from Belgium for Ghanaian shot stopper Richard Ofori.
Ofori who is the captain of Maritzburg United has been on top form for the club since last season and might be sold in the coming winter transfer window.
Maritzburg chairman Farook Kadodia revealed that an interest has come from Belgium for Ofori though he declined to mention the club.

“There’s some interest from Belgium for Ofori. But first I need to clarify this. Ofori is not in the last year of his contract. He still has one more year left at the club,” Kadodia emphasized on Monday.
“We would love to place Ofori into a good team not at the team where his career won’t go far,” Kadodia said.
Ofori has already appeared in two Africa Cup of Nations for Ghana.
“The were some talks with the team from Belgium, but nothing has been pursued as yet. If it happens, it will be the end of the season,” he added.
Ofori will be in post on Thursday when Ghana welcome South Africa in Cape Coast in a 2021 AFCON qualifier.
