Bonang celebrates & lights up Taboo for 31st birthday
The carpet was rolled out this past Saturday at Taboo nightclub in Sandton, Johannesburg in celebration of media personality, Bonang Matheba’s, 31st birthday.
With a guest list that included names such as Pinky, Lorna Maseko, Jay Badza, Boity Thulo, Rosette Ncwana, Sefiso Hlongwane and Maps Maponyane amongst others. A pink carpet lead her celebrity friends on their way to a VIP area complete with a pink rose flower-wall, and countless pink balloons.
Always shining, Bonang stepped out in a dress by SA’s go-to designer and her good friend Orapeleng Modutle, who has created an exquisite light pink body-con ensemble with fur boa.
Only the best in entertainment filled up the evening’s stellar line-up, which included SA’s top radio host, DJ Fresh, the mega hit makers, Busiswa, DJ Loyd, as well as DJ Waxxy.

This year has seen Bonang celebrate many key milestones in her successful career, including an invitation to host The Nelson Mandela Centenary Dinner in London, Miss SA last month and the return of her popular reality TV show, Being Bonang.
Being Bonang is just so fabulous darling!
Bonang joked as the special moment of the evening arrived in the form of a Courvoisier XO cake, Bonang’s favourite variant of the luxury cognac, followed with a loud chorus of Happy Birthday.
