Ghana has hit 52 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus.
According to the Minister for health, Kweku Agyemang Manu, the 25 new cases are imported cases from the 1,030 people who are under mandatory self-quarantine in some hotels in Accra.

A total of 598 suspected patients, according to Dr Badu Sarkodie, the Director of Public Health of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) were tested for COVID-19 by Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) and Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR).
According to Dr Badu Sarkodie, 14 of the suspected patients who were in self-isolation have completed the mandatory quarantine out of which one developed symptoms and was later tested positive for the virus.
