Chioma Avril Rowland, fiancee of Nigerian music star, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease which is currently wreaking havoc in parts of the world.
In an instagram post, Friday, Davido said he decided to go test for the disease after returning from America having to cancel a planned tour together with Chioma who came from Engand recently. Upon receipt of test results, the whole team he travelled with and the couple’s baby tested negative but for Chioma who tested positive.

“Hey everyone! I came back recently from America after cancelling tour. My Fiancee, Chioma also also came back from London recently with our baby. We had no symptoms and still both feel perfectly fine but because of our recent travel history we decided to take ourselves and our all close associates we’ve come in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March. Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive” he said in the post.
According to the star, all other 31 members of the crew he travelled with also tested for the disease and the results came out negative adding that they are nevertheless observing self-isolation for a period of 14 days.
He reveals that they are doing “perfectly fine” and Chioma who is under quarantine now is “yet to show any symptoms whatsoever”.
