Following his near death experience, Patapaa has boldly claimed the music industry is controlled by evil spirits.
According to him, artistes in the industry need to be watchful because there are spirits that run the affairs of the industry, which are bent on causing havoc to them.

He indicated that he has come to the realization that there is the need to be spiritually fortified as an entertainer because the industry is no joke considering the kind of things that go in there in the spiritual realm.
Patapaa made this comment after sharing his experience on how he nearly got poisoned by some around him.
On October 28, news went viral that ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa has been hospitalised after being in a critical condition just some minutes before a show.
According to the report, Patapaa was supposed to perform at a show but was quickly sent to St. Martins de Porres hospital just some few hours to his performance at the Kundum Show at Atuabo.
