Hon. Alexander Afenyo- Markin, Member of Parliament for Effutu have completed & handed over an ultramodern public toilet facility to the Osakam community in Winneba.
This comes off as one of his pledges he made to for infrastructural development agenda for the Effutu constituency.
Osakam is an indigenous fishing community in Winneba, about 200metres from the shore.
The handing over ceremony took place in Osakam on the 5th of May,2020.
He asked them to take good care of the facility and make it open for use to everybody in Osakam.
He further advised the people of the community to observe the practices to prevent contracting the
Covid-19
By wearing nose masks, washing of their hands, &using hand sanitizers.
