Unheralded Ghanaian brawler Ebenezer Tetteh has landed a crack at the vacant Commonwealth Heavyweight title.
The undefeated Tetteh, 31, will go up against fast-rising Daniel “Dynamite” Dubois for the strap on September 27 at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall.
It will be recalled that Dubois, 21, stopped another Ghanaian fighter Richard Lartey via TKO in April and is expected to have it easy against Tetteh.
Tetteh’s fight record stands at 19 wins and zero losses, with 16 coming by knockout. The Dubois fight will be his contest outside Ghana.
Dubois, 21, has been dubbed the next Big British Thing at heavyweight after dominant beatdowns of Razvan Cojanu and Richard Lartey this year.
He has won all 12 of his fights, with 11 not going the distance.
