Former president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Lepowura MND Jawula has advised the newly elected head of the football body’ Kurt E.S Okraku to take up from the good works of embattled Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Alhaji Jawula who was the boss of the GFA from 1997 to 2001 has asked Kurt Okraku to work assiduously to draw back the fans to Stadium to improve the dying game in the country.
“I will encourage Kurt, at the international level,the CAF level to do whatever he can to climb that staircase or ladder to continue where Nyantakyi left it from and I know that there is hope for him as an insider, he told Kumasi FM.
Alhaji Jawula, who is a member of CAF Interclub Competitions and FIFA/CAF Match Commissioner, again reminisced the days when Herbert Mensah was the Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Harry Zakkour was the Chairman of Hearts of Oak with the crowd they pulled to Stadium.

“There is a lot to do and a lot to start from. Kurt and his team must do their best to bring the good old days of the league back like the days of Herbert Mensah and Harry Zakour, we need the crowd back.”
“Referees should not make the mistake to go back to the old days of getting money and forcing penalties to favour clubs, we won’t tolerate that and Kurt and his team should not tolerate that.”
