National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that findings they are making as a party shows Ghanaians regret voting for President Nana Akuffo-Addo.
Speaking on US based station, Tuesday, the former minister of state said that they have been able to gather this feedback out of the various interactions they have devised to help reach out to every Ghanaian and understand their needs.
According to her, the party has adopted an “on-grounds” method where they are organizing micro meetings which include Door-to-Door and Community-to-community meetings like the the party’s flag bearer John Mahama is doing in his SpeakOut tour.

She reveals that this has become an important measure to use because the party is no more going to sit and think what Ghanaians need adding they want to make sure by this, Ghanaians themselves make their inputs further citing and example that the current government’s 1 million dollar per constituency for example is not the right way to go. She maintained that one must first know the people’s needs from them. She believes this participatory approach John Mahama is using will help them understand the plight of Ghanaians very well.
Infrastructure
Assessing some of the things the current governments touts itself with, she said the government has rather not been able deliver as they promised. In the area of infrastructure for instance, she said there were some important things the government is not looking at. She creates an example that there is the need for the necessary infrastructure that would rather help farmers get their crops to the market before they rot. Thus, she argues in such case, the roads should have come first instead of the Planting for Food and Jobs the government touts itself with, which she says was not successful.

According to Dr. Bissue, they have only done well with planting for food and jobs by branding cars and others. She also says that a lot lot of the infrastructures like the University of Ghana Medical School and Bank Of Ghana Hospital John Mahama built have been left to rot.
Ambulances
Dr. Bissue said the government only short-changed Ghanaians with the 1 Constituency 1 Anbulance project because the equipment in all the ambulances presented at the commissioning ceremony in Accra were bought by John Mahama which was confirmeed by the producer of the show as true.
She also adds that President started with a similar project called the ‘Onuado’ vans which were intended to go to hinterlands to provides health service, saying these vans have been left by Nana Addo and his government to rot.
She is currently in the USA to conduct party business.
