A 10 year of girl have been reportedly committed suicide.
The incident that happened in Kwahu Nteso near Kwahu Tafo in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region has cause a lot of tension in the community.
Ama Sakaa famously called by many was a pupil of Kwahu Tafo SDA Basic School.
She allegedly hanged herself with a headscarf tied to a wooden hanger a room in the house.
The sad incident occurred Tuesday, May 19, 2020, around 5:50pm.
Ama Sakaa the deceased’s real name is Ocansey Zepola.
Ama Sakaa‘s grandma told Bryt FM News,
that she was asked to hawk some food items on behalf of her sick mother but complained of not feeling well hence could not go.
She said, the late Zepola went to bath and after that went into her room.
According to the Grandmother, the mother of the girl noticing her conspicuous absence in the house after some hours went in search for her only to find her hanging dead in the room.
She said Police were informed and after taken inventories conveyed the body to Atibie Government Hospital Morgue.
