A gory accident has just occurred on the Asuboi stretch of the Accra to Kumasi Highway.
In a reports the truck driver named, Dramani Zathani, said as quoted;
”I overtookthe taxi cab but suddenly his truck burst tyre hence lost control of the steering wheel which he crushed the taxi of which some of the bags of cement fell and crashed onto the taxi cab killing the taxi driver”
The Taxi driver dead on the spot as the Trailer driver and mate survived.
The gory accident occurred between Daf Trailer truck with registration number GC 8193-12 transporting cement
And an Opel Astra Taxi cab with registration GR 8843 -X which ended up into a ditch.
Suhum Fire Service, Police Service, Ayensuano Nadmo, and Ayensuano Ambulance Corp went to extricate the driver and his mate on the Daf Trailer as well as the dead driver.
The deceased body has been deposited at the Suhum Government Hospital.
Whiles driver and his mate are receiving medical checkups.
