Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku says he cannot be forced into retirement by the club.
The Porcupine Warriors have made it clear to Opoku that they will not extend his contract when it ends next month and plans are advanced for him to join the youth team coaching ranks but the 38-year-old is not keen on quitting the globular leather now.

“Kotoko cannot organize a testimonial match for me when I have not told them that I am retiring from football.” Opoku told Angel FM
“I have a month and half contract with them and they told me that they are not ready to extend it but I don’t have a problem with it.”
“I am the best player in Kotoko now.” He added,
Opoku is on his third stint with the club after previously playing for them from 2006 to 2011 and also from 2013 to 2015.
