Kwasi Michael, 44, has reportedly died in multiple car accidents on the Nkawkaw
The accidents occurred Monday about 2:20 pm when a driver Godfred Adade, 28 in charge of a
Mercedes Benz Sprinter bus with registration Number GG 2277-20 from Kumasi towards Accra with
ten (10) passengers on board.

But on reaching a section of the road at Kwahu Awenade, he ran into the near side doors of a Chevrolet taxi cab with registration number GW 9242-20 driven by Adamu Mustapha, 25 in an attempt to overtake vehicles ahead of him and subsequently collided head-on with KIA Avella taxi with registration number GC 4160-Z driven by Kwasi Michael,44, now deceased and also a Daewoo Matiz taxi registration number ER 845-19 driven by Patrick Dwamena age 29.
The drivers together with their passengers sustained various degrees of injuries and were all rushed to Holy Family and KENOP Care Hospital respectively for treatment.
The Acting Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command Sargeant Francis Gomado said Police proceeded to the Hospitals and met all the suspect drivers and their passengers receiving treatment except, Samuel Kwasi Michael who was pronounced dead shortly on arrival with the body deposited at the Holy family Hospital morgue.

He said the accident vehicles towed and impounded at Central Police Station Nkawkaw, awaiting DVLA examination and reports.
