Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah will be lining up ten players from the same starting eleven he used against South Africa for this afternoon’s AFCON qualifier with Sao Tome at the Nacional 12 de Julho.
The only new entrant is Al Fayha winger Samuel Owusu who takes the place of Alfred Duncan as Appiah goes for a flat 4-4-2 formation.
The Islanders are minnows in world football but in their skipper, Luis Leal, who plays for Newells Old Boys in Argentina, they have a great player who is on his own class and the Ghana back four must be wary of him.

A win for Ghana will see the Black Stars on top of Group C after South Africa defeated Sudan 1-0 on Sunday.
The game will kickoff at 1300 GMT.
