The largest opposition political party in Ghana, National Democratic Congress (NDC) on March 22, announced a team of professionals to guide the party’s efforts and its response to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
The team, according to the Flagbearer of the NDC, John Mahama, will lead the party’s public advocacy and sensitisation activities on the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 13-member contingents will also collaborate and provide support to government, upon request, on the fight against coronavirus.
According to a statement from the NDC, The members of the team who have been drawn from among the rich array of expertise in the party are made up of the following personalities:

Meanwhile, the novel coronavirus cases recorded in Ghana have risen to 24.
