The workshop was led by the General Secretary of the party, Mr. John Boadu with support of some Resource Persons and Facilitators including a former National Chairman of the party and 2016 Campaign Manager, Hon. Peter Mac Manu.
The others include Director of Elections, Mr. Evans Nimako and a Deputy National Communications Director of the party, Mr. Yaw Preko among others.
The facilitators took the constituency executives through relevant topics including party history and ideology, party structure and organisation, constituency profiling and electoral matters as well as the art and science of political communications.
John Boadu, who turned 50 on Friday, implored the party executives to, at all times, commit themselves to respect laid down structures and abide by the tenets of the party constitution in everything they do.
He also reminded them that the NPP is a disciplined party that thrives on these structures.
He thanked the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party, Mr. Divine Agorhum and his entire regional executives for the effective mobilization of the region for the training sessions and also thanked them for the “surprise birthday party” they organised for him in Tema.
The training workshop, which started in the Ahafo Region, according to the NPP chief scribe, will be replicated in all the regions of the country.
The next stop, he said, will be the Western and Western North Regions, which will take their turn from next week Tuesday.
