The National Service Plan (NSS) has actually ordered all NSS workers to go back to their places of work on Monday, May 4, 2020, after taking a one month paid leave.
NSS workers were directed in March to take a forced paid leave due to the coronavirus break out in Ghana.
However, a statement released by the NSS Corporate Affairs Directorate on Sunday, May 3, directed service workers resume their duty with their particular user companies.
The statement also mandated the personnel to wear a face mask and comply with all other laid-down precautionary measures and workplace protocols, as they resume work.
The Management of NSS appealed to all user agencies as much as possible, operationalize a shift system to reduce the frequency of human contact.
