In the past few days Burundi has seen the free and fair presidential election take place.
Today Monday 25th May, the Burundi’s electoral commission is set to announce provisional results from last week’s presidential election.

With the outgoing head of state’s handpicked successor Evariste Ndayishimiye poised to be declared the winner.
The official announcement is set for 2:00pm (1200 GMT), reports by an official press invitation received Sunday.
