The heir apparent to the British throne, Prince Charles, has tested positive for coronavirus, CNN has reported.
The 71-year-old Prince of Wales left London earlier this week to head to Balmoral, in Scotland, where he is believed to be staying for the duration of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to his office, “he has been displaying mild symptoms, but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual.”
His wife, Camilla, has, however, tested negative for the virus.
The ITV reports that both Prince Charles and Camilla are self-isolating. They are currently at their home Burnham on the Balmoral Estate in Scotland.
Prince Charles’s office says, “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the Prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”
