Way back december 2019, Instagram alerted the public that it was goin to bring it’s web app to microsoft store.
One of the key advantages they stated was how easy it will be for users to be able to update the app.
In a post on twitter, Instagram announced the availability of the app for all users on the web.
The main features of the app is to receive and send DMs to their contacts right through the web.
The company has done a lot for the web app to be similar to that of the mobile platform.
It brought imoji keyboard and the ability to add pictures to conversations.
The direct message icon is now at the top of the navigation, right next to the home icon.
The direct message feature introduced by Instagram will help business account holders to be able to handle their accounts very well.
