Ashanti Regional chairman of the governing New Patriotic party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has called on all party faithfuls to work in unity because that is a guarantee to winning the upcoming elections in December.
With this, he believes that the party can reach it’s aim of a total win in all the constituencies.
Speaking on the party’s performance in government so far, chairman wontumi believes strongly that the party has fulfilled all promises made Ghanaians in their manifesto. “One would realize that the president has fulfilled all promises made in his manifesto”. He however added that the party must look at making these known to various constituents for them to know what has been done so far saying “what people are still saying is that we have a problem with communication…the party must work on on that by immediately engaging constituents to make now what has been done so far. If we are able to say it, that’s when everyone will see that indeed we have fufilled our promises. That will make us win in 2020.”
Other party stalwarts in the region who were at the meeting with party executives including the member of parliament for Bantama constituency, Hon. Daniel Okyem Aboagye also touted the goveenment under the leadership of Nana Akuffo-Addo as a successful one.
They reiterated the fact that all promises made by the party has been fulfilled calling on other members of parliament and various District Chief Executives to engage their constituents and make known the successes chalked by the party in fulfilling their promises.
