Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have stripped off its voting right from club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) George Amoako in the upcoming Ghana Football Association elections this Friday.
According to the special assistant to the chairman, Nana Kwasi Gyambibi on Accra-based Vision 1 FM, Mr Amoako has been replaced with the club’s operations manager Isaac Donkor ‘Perusha’ in their delegate list for the Ghana FA elective congress.
Duo Nana Kwasi Gyambibi ‘Coker’ and Isaac Donkor ‘Perusha’ will vote on behalf of the two-time CAF Champions League winners in the Ghana FA Presidential elections.
The Executive Chairman of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei stripped off the voting right from Mr. Amoako after the club has endorsed George Afriyie but Mr Amoako was caught on tape insisting he will vote for a different candidate.
Mr. Amoako is seeking to be elected onto the Ghana Football Association Executive Council. The Ghana Football Association Presidential election will be held on October 25th.
