Ghanaian defender Edwin Gyimah is finding it difficult to get a team after being released by Bidvest Wits this summer.
The 28-year-old was one of the players shown the exit by the Clever Boys as coach Galvin Hunt made major changes to the entire playing body.
Gyimah was on trials at Highlanders over a month ago but was not offered a contract and Dailymailgh.com understands that he is training on his own to keep in shape.
He has previously played for Mpumalanga Black Aces, Supersports, Orlando Pirates, Helsingborg as well as Bidvests.
