Guillaume Soro ex Ivory Coast’s Presidential candidate & former rebel leader jailed for 20 years & fined $7m for embezzlement and money laundering.
The ex rebel leader and prime minister, was accused of embezzlement of fund.

Reports says he has denied all allegations & his lawyers have boycotted the trials,
Denouncing it as a way to exclude him from October’s election, reported by Reuters.
Major properties of the ex rebel leader Guillaume Soro have been ceased for the state in Abidjan.
Another charge against Guillaume Soro is plotting a coup against President Alassane Ouattara, who is due to leave office later this year.
Soro was once an ally of Mr Ouattara.
