Sallam SK manager for award winning musician Diamond Platnumz has confirm that Harmonize is no longer part of Wasafi Classic Record.
Sallam SK says the bongo singer has tabled a formal request for the termination of his contract with the label founded by Diamond Platnumz.
Speaking in an interview on Wasafi FM, Sallam said talks have been scheduled to settle the matter.
He said Wasafi management received the request with a good heart and were impressed by Harmonize’s professional approach to the whole matter.
“Harmonize’s heart right now is not at WCB. But he is still in the WCB. Harmonize has sent a letter requesting to terminate his contract and is willing to go through all aspects of the law to cancel his contract. That is something we respect and his letter has been endorsed. He is a man who has stood by and adhered to the rules. Perhaps it has come to a time when he has decided to develop himself and move on…” said the manager.
Sallam noted that they have given Harmonize their blessings and they will look to maintain a cordial working relationship in the future.
“WCB is open to anyone who decides to leave, we will not oppose anything, because if he follows all the procedures he will have a hundred per cent from the Sanctuary and whatever he wants to share anytime. You know when you leave in good terms it helps that the relationship is always there,” he said.
Sallam said they will hold a press conference to announce Konde Boy’s official exit from WCB once all the required procedures have been completed.
“When you agree to enter into a contract, it is an institution and you cannot simply enter and exit. In the session we will also do the calculations so that he gets his full benefits. Our contract is open and the artist can terminate any time. So Harmonize has asked with a good heart and we will give him all our blessings. And we are sure the termination will go well. ” said Sallam.
