Heavy rains rack homes in Jumapo & Suhyen in the New Juaben North Municipality of the Eastern region.
The rains ripped off houses and shops destroying things worth thousands leaving people in the community homeless and jobless.

Many affected persons where seen salvaging items such as mattresses, clothes, electronic equipments etc, With other properties damaged.
Staff of the National Disaster Management Organization was in the community yesterday for assessment of the incident.
