Hearts of Oak emerged winners of the 2019 Homowo Cup after defeating rivals Great Olympics on penalty shootout at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, October 20.
The Phobians beat Olympics 3-1 on penalties after the game ended 1-1 in regulation time.

Olympics managed to hold Hearts of Oak to a scoreless draw in the first half with a brilliant output.
On the 69th minute, Mitchell Sarpong broke the deadlock for the Phobians with a classy finish before Olympics had the equaliser after two minutes.
Iddrisu Salar snatched the leveller for Great Olympics on the 71st minute to end the match in a 1-1 stalemate.
