New music is on the way according to JahPlaka, the sensational reggae/dancehall musician taking Ghana and the world by storm.
The rising reggae and dancehall artiste has announced plans to release his anticipated EP titled Vitamin C.
The Vitamin C EP is a 5-track project masterpiece that houses the just released debut single Listen Up.
His single off the EP ‘Listen Up’, was featured on Spotify’s top playlist ‘Dancehall Station’, an exclusive playlist platform for exciting dancehall music in the world, which featured breakout Jamaican sensation Koffee’s ‘Toast’ which has been making waves since.
“Seeing this was a reminder to myself, that hardwork pays off and I’m trying to achieve something with my sound and my craft” – JahPlaka.
On his choice of name for the EP, he stressed that “music is a form of medication, and I chose Vitamin C because, we can never do away with both music and Vitamin C”.

The music sensation has already garnered a cult following on digital streaming site Spotify.
Speaking on the album, he said artistes such as Fela Kuti, Bob Marley and Buju Banton had major influences on his style whiles growing up and bits and pieces of such elements are evident in his craft.
“Grew up listeming to these greats and they have influenced my sound one way or the other” – JahPlanka.
