Rizespor defender, Joseph Attamah Larweh has been handed a late call up by coach Kwesi Appiah to replace injured Mohammed Salisu in the Black Stars squad.

Salisu, who plays for Real Valladolid is nursing an injury he sustained over the weekend in his club’s league game and he has been deemed unfit to play in Ghana’s two impending AFCON qualifiers.
The 20-year-old central defender is currently being attended to by his club’s medical team and has been officially ruled out of the Black Stars games.
In his place, Joseph Attamah has been called to fill the void as Ghana seek to tighten up the back.
Attamah has made nine Turkish Superliga appearances this season for Rizespor providing one assist.
