Former Black Stars midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has hinted of his availability to the Black Star’s cause for a fourth successive world cup appearance.
Boateng, who now plays for Las Palmas in the Spanish top flight has not featured for the Stars since he was dispelled from the stars camp in Brazil during the 2014 world cup.
The former AC Milan player said he is open to a stars call up. “For every player it is an opportunity to get the chance to play in a world cup for his country.
“Not all players would have the opportunity to play in three world cups…I wouldn’t say no to the idea but before it happens we have to sit down and talk.
“I don’t want to go back with a bad spirit, if I want to go back I want everything to be perfect so we can work together”.
Boateng, who has played eight games so far this season for his club, claimed that a lot of things about what happened during Brazil 2014 world cup were fabricated.
“There were people who had problems with me, I don’t know for what reason but I was kicked out.
“They had their reasons, they made them up and I think it was not the right decision they took”.
Boateng, who has featured 15 times for the stars has two goals to his international credit since making his debut in 2010.
