Kofas Media, the company which houses actors Kalybos and Ahuofe Patri has signed fast rising Kumawood star, Yaw Dabo. Kofi Asamoah, CEO of the production house who broke the news to Zionfelix.com said the deal to manage the actor will last for two years.
Explaining what made him sign Yaw Dabo, the movie director popularly known as Kofas said “he is an upcoming in Kumasi. I signed him because I love his energy. He is talented and I want to create a brand for him that would as well be appealing to corporate Ghana”.
“I believe there is more he can do than he is actually doing now. Ans that’s what got me to go fish him out from Kumasi” he added.
When asked if the contract will restrict the comic actor to feature in only Kofas Media produced movies, he answered no.
“Not just my movies. I am not signing him to just be in my movies. That’s never part of why I signed him. Signing him means he is under my management.
As for movies, I only do one movie each year. That can’t do it all”
