One person named Kojo Antwi has been electrocuted.
Kojo lost his life in the floods at Adabraka in the Greater Accra region.

Officials of NADMO directed his death to the failure of personnel of the Electricity Company of Ghana
to act promptly.
According to the Municipal NADMO Coordinator, Mr. Daniel Odei, the delay by ECG to effect the
power cut led to the electrocution of the man.

Many parts of Accra are flooded with the worst affected parts being Achimota,
where the body of a child was seen floating in the murky waters; and Adabraka Sahara, Adabraka
Timbaland, Adabraka Aponkye, Odawna, Kingsby Junction, Graphic Road, Agbgbloshie and adjoining areas.
