Managing Editor of The Insight Newspaper, Mr. Kwesi Pratt has said that there is serious lack of information about ongoing voters’ registration exercise needs to be tackled.
According to him, there are some vital information many are missing, making the registration exercise record hardships that could be prevented.
These include the fact that information that registration at district headquarters of the Electoral Commission id reserves for the aged and that fact that there will be a movement from one cluster to another in the various constituencies.

Mr. Kwesi Pratt believes there is the need to put in place the necessary measures that will not see a spike in the rise of infections.
“I will take the risk, although I know it is risky to go and register… I am going to register so that I will be able to voice out legitimately the things that I do not like about the process” he said
The issue of has become the fear of many as the issue of social distancing has become very worrisome because it has been observed that at many of the centers, registrants do not adhere to the protocols.

“Let’s look at working well and doing the work well for everything to go well for us because per how it is going now, the situation is really disturbing” he pleaded.
Issues of Social Distancing
Since its commencement, Monday, the major worry many have raised about the ongoing voters’s registration has been the inability of registrants to adhere to social distancing protocols at the various registration centers. Many have raised concerns about this development and fear that this could lead to a surge in the number of cases recorded so far.

The electoral commission has given its word to do something about it but associated the problem with panic registrations.
