Reports from Manso Edubiase District in the Ashanti region, has it that two persons out of three have died in a mining pit.
These persons where involved in illegal mining.
The two dead persons unidentified believed to be in their 30s,
were rescued from the pit on Monday, May 11, at about 11:50am were pronounced dead on arrival at the Tontokrom Health Centre.
The remains has since been deposited at the St Martin’s Catholic Hospital’s Morgue,
