Embattled Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1, has announced his victory in a case between his company, Menzgold and Horizon Diamonds in Dubai involving some $39 million.
NAM 1, who was arrested and detained in Dubai for an alleged gold fraud after he went chasing his debtors, Horizon Diamonds.
Reports say, Nana Appiah Mensah won the case against Horizon Diamonds and was supposed to be paid $39 million, but the company went for an appeal.
Months later, in his infamous address to the press dubbed, ‘NAM1Speaks’, the embattled CEO appealed to the State Attorney to assist him in retrieving his money from Horizon Diamonds.
Sharing his joy about his victory, NAM1 took to his twitter page to announce his victory in the case.
“Horizon Royal Diamond DMCC’s Supreme Court review of the Menzgold acquittal and discharge, by the Dubai first instance and Appeals court has been thrown out today by the Dubai Supreme Court. We bless God,” he said.
