Musician D’banj has responded to rape allegation leveled against him

A lady identified as Miss Seyitan earlier alleged that D’banj raped her in a hotel in Victoria Island,
Lagos two years ago.
Responding to the discussions on social media, D’banj stated that he is innocent until proven guilty.
“Innocent until proven guilty”, he captioned his post.
The singer in a video post shared on his verified Instagram page on Monday, June 2020, was seen stylishly dressed up as he danced energetically to his 2008 hit song, Olorun Maje.

The singer was seen miming the lyrics of his song which talks about how enemies are trying to bring him down and how the God he serves will not allow it.
D’banj advised people to stop judging the matter on social media.
He also indicated he is against any form of human rights abuse.
