An assembly of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) was at hand on Tuesday 26th November 2019 to resuscitate the Second lady, Samira Bawumia, after she reportedly passed out.

Reports indicate the story could have been worse had she not been in the midst of health professionals.
The GRNMA had invited the Second lady to deliver the keynote address at the opening of its 17th Biennial National Delegates Congress at Dodowa.
Mrs. Bawumia was said to have fainted prompting some of the nurses to revive her.
The Second Lady in a post on Facebook, however, discounted the reports that she had collapsed and explained her condition was due to the heat at the venue.
She expressed gratitude to the nurses and midwives for their prompt reaction
