Parents and guardians have stormed the Accra Girls Senior High School after six students test positive for Coronavirus

Six student of Accra Girls Senior High School have reportedly contracted the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The news have left some parents and guardians storming the school premisses to take their ward home.

Some Police officers have been deployed at the entrance of the school to manage the situation as it gets intense.

The parents some of whom are seen visibly agitated in an amateur video insist on removing their wards

from the school after unconfirmed reports of COVID-19 infections went viral yesterday.

Some of the parents said they will not depart from the entrance of the school until they are addressed by

the Headmistress on the developments in the school.

COVID-19 fears

The fears of the parents stem from reports by multiple news outlets Sunday that some students of the

school showed symptoms of COVID-19 and were isolated in the school’s sickbay on Monday, June 29,

2020.
