There were rumors on Monday about the death of one popular fetish Priest-Togbe Shitor
In Akyem Kukurantumi in the Abuakwa North.
New reports coming in from the region suggest that it was all hoax.

According to Akyem Tafo Police the fetish faked his death along with other two persons.
The police said;
The fetish priest -Togbe Shitor connived with his followers for the pseudocide.
The news of his alleged passing away went viral as his followers and unsuspecting sympathizers mourned him amid the firing of gunshots at the shrine and singing of dirges.

The sudden death of the fetish priest Monday sparked fears that he may have died from coronavirus
given that he was seen walking in Koforidua a few hours before the said death.
Police detectives from Akyem New Tafo dispatched to the shrine rather than found out the death was staged.
The fetishes priest managed to escape but two of his followers were arrested.
He has currently reported himself to the Police& been processed to court on Thursday, June 18, 2020 to face the law.

The controversial fetish priest has been involved in many controversies and criminalities.
He is currently standing trial before a Circuit Court in Koforidua for molesting some contestants of the 2019 Miss Commonwealth Beauty Pageant.
