It’s an eighth club since leaving Ghana in 2009, but defender Samuel Inkoom is happy with his new Bulgarian affair.
The former Black Stars defender completed a four-month deal with FC Vereya on Friday. The club, who have just been promoted into the top-flight, have purchased the services of the Ghanaian in what is the most expensive transfer so far in this winter window in the league.
“I am very happy to have signed for Vereya FC and I am very thankful to the manager and President who showed so much desire to bring me here,” the right-back wrote on Twitter.
He could debut on Sunday when the club face giants Ludogorets. Inkoom becomes the first Ghanaian player to feature for the club after completing his medical in Stara Zagora.
