Snatching of cars has become rampant in Suhum in the Eastern region.
For past weeks now several reports have been made on cases of car snatching in its environs,
The District Police Commander hinted.
According to Chief Superintendent
Joseph Owusu, Chief Superintendent said, a Kia taxi cab with registration number GW 7544-19 was snatched from the driver by name, Michael Tetteh last Saturday, 9th May 2020,
when he was approached by a young man about 20-years to take him to Budu, a community near Suhum.
He stressed that the vehicle was allegedly snatched from the driver on the way to Budu.
The police capo is, however, advising the public, especially taxi drivers to be wary of the latest incident to avoid falling victims.
