Chief of Sienchiem, a town in the Ahafo region has praised flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and former president Mahama for the good works he helped the town with as president of Ghana.
At a durdar organized as part of the NDC flag bearer’s SpeakOut tour to the 16 regions of Ghana, Tuesday, Nana Bofuor Anim III said the former president’s leadership brought them a lot of development which is unrivaled.

“Here in Sienchiem, we know that you [Mahama] have done it all for us; I will be lying if I am to say you have done nothing so we are solidly behind you. You used the roads coming here and I know that you are the one who come and fix our spoilt bridge for us because you do as you say” adding that as president, he did so much that they will not be able mention.
Nana Bofuor Anim was of the view that it is right to make people know the good jobs they have done instead of seeing it as a political dealing. He said “A man deserves to be praised for the good done. If a man does something and you say it, they say you are doing politics. This is not politics”.

According to him, the NDC has stayed true to their commitment of seeing to the development of their town and no one can do it for them. He assured Mr. Mahama of their support and was hopeful that he will win the elections in the town come December.
“When we say, it comes true. We believe in the ancestors…as you are here today, I want to assure him that he should sleep when he is. We will support him with prayers for victory to be his in 2020” he said.
John Dramani Mahama is on the SpeakOut tour together with the party manifesto team to help them come up with an all inclusive “People’s Manifesto”.
